The towns of the Old West were constantly under construction – new tents placed on empty lots, later upgraded to wooden or even brick buildings.
My first HO-scale kit from Wild West Models is quite simple – a small wooden building under construction.
The wood is lasercut, making assembly very easy. I gave the walls a bit of weathering to make them appear somewhat older than the half-finished roof.
The kit even included two small sawhorses, which I glued inside the building before closing it off. I also weathered the floor a bit more and added some grey-brown sand to simulate sawdust and dirt.
The little kit was a pleasure to build and will provide a lot of character to my little frontier town!
